As mentioned on the Big West Wrestling Facebook page on March 13, Davey Deals–who only two months ago was promoted to head of Big West Security–has been suspended pending an investigation into his recent behavior. Problems started on February 24 in Vernon, at the Thrash Wrestling CONTENTS MAY EXPLODE! event, when Deals inexplicably attacked Danny Knightmare during his match with Michael McCaw; this helped McCaw immediately secure victory with a Kiwi Cutter.
While Big West was warned of the issue, nothing of this nature had ever happened at a Big West event…until March 10 at R3ACH FOR THE SKY, when Deals assaulted Don Hellion, who was immediately laid out by McCaw and his Kiwi Cutter. Here you can see GIF footage of both incidents:
After the second incident in as many weeks, it became clear that something must be going on. Deals remains tight-lipped, and McCaw has refused comment at this time. The issue will hopefully be resolved–one way or the other–on April 7 when Big West Wrestling presents IT’S ALL ABOUT RESPECT VI at Lake City Bowling.
